I have a 1978 3/4 ton Dodge Adventurer pickup truck that I purchased from a guy in CA. When I got it had no rust except for a spot on the front bumper. Unfortunately for the last 5 or so years it has sat outside at a friends house in the country. Still no body rust, but it has green mold or some green crusty/scaly dead vegetation all over the outside of it. It looks like it is on there pretty good. Any recommendations on how to remove the crud without damaging the factory paint? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Wailin D

If it is actually mold or mildew, then use bleach. That is the active ingredient in mold/mildew remover and it won't hurt the paint. Try to let it soak a few times & wait until it dies. Then gently scrub it off with dish soap & water
