Just put the heads on the wrong side than you have forward facing genIII manifolds.

Now if that is all it takes to do a turbo then I am there... That makes a lot more sense than mounting the turbo under the truck bed where it would be easy to collect the exhaust, draw in dirty air from under or suck it through the floor of the bed and then blow it back to the front of the truck and down through a carb...or do I have it wrong???????????

Just making some headers would be the BEST way. Then people don't have to swap heads and drill and tap drain back holes.
