Do the windows just roll up against the weatherstrip or do they go into the slot? Anyone have pictures of how the windows seal against the weatherstrip ? I see no way for the front window to go into the slot but the quarter window could?? Thanks Larry J

They roll UP to the weather stripping with a slight compression to seal, not into the channel, the weather stripping will have a slightly stepped profile that hangs just below the weather striping channel, that step faces you as you stand outside the door/side of the vehicle and allows the glass to seal when the windows are UP, and allows you to open the door without pulling the weather stripping out of the channel

Thanks for the reply. I know it seems like a no brainer but when I rolled the quarter window up it went right into the slot. Then when I looked at the front window I realized there was no way it would fit into the slot. Thanks Larry J

If it went into the slot, you would never get the door open without pulling on the glass. A lot of modern cars without window frames will have the windows drop a bit to clear the seal once you pull on the handle.
