Is that the black plastic gasket with the double ( super thin) o ring type perimeter seal? They work [censored] with cast aluminum pans, I have that one on my 727 but it doesnt seal with the deep 904 mopar steel pan.
Whats the part number for the grey ribbed steel reinforced silicone gasket? Do they still make that one? I just use the cheapo cork gasket.. it dont leak with the cast pan.. I just use the stock cast pan on the 518(727) but its deep

Only experience is with the 727 Can't beat a cast pan with machined surfaces This one's a TCI Greg is that a Superformance gasket on that 727 pan? I couldn't remember if I asked you if you make those or not? I need to upgrade my deep steel pan to a cast aluminum pan, it seems to leak no matter what I try.

The gasket pictured is prototype #3 #2 is on my charger with the stock steel pan and seems to be working very well. #1 was destined for the Barracuda but ended up on a fellow racers NSS Coronet who was in panic mode trying to seal his pan. Believe he was using the MP deep pan and I'll have to ask if there are any puddles under his car, been a few years since he installed it. The newer style over-molded carrier type gaskets are a nice concept however, the only sealing contact are the thin raised beads. A gasket made of quality material has way more sealing surface area. JMO I would like to make these along with many other products but it's hard enough to keep up with what's going out the door now

If Superformance wants to send me enough to make a pan gasket..... "I'm your Huckleberry!"
I'll bet most MP steel pans leak between the middle 2 front holes, I'm thinking about just making a 1/4" thick steel bar "straddle Plate" and use longer bolts. If it has the slightest bow it's a clamping issue.

If you want to go to the dealership and try and get the trans pan that DVW is talking about I think this is a part # that will work. 52118780AD with gasket 02464324AC. These #'s are for a 46RE but I am almost positive it shares the same shape as the 727/518 trans. But like Mr P-Body said, junkyard will probably be easier and cheaper than going the dealership route.
