YES - I will search Rock - appreciated! Why not save time and money and just take that part number to the local parts store. If they don't carry that brand they can cross reference it. I'd much rather support local businesses then mail order houses.

The tranny opening is the same for the olders 727s and 904s as well as the later 500s and 518s, so that seal will work with our older trannies. But, as has been pointed out, the dipstick ends are different between the older O-ring ones and the newer ones that came with the seal.
But here's a thought: could you fill the O-ring groove with JB Weld and smooth it to use the newer seal with the older dipsticks?

That looks like the stick tube seal for a 4l60e.. Replaced mine on a 1994 firebird. That might narrow your search.
