i agree and like D-50 said lowering blocks will work.....front tires also look tiny see if you can fit a 28"tall skinny on er.

I would be happy with how she's running. That's fast for a mild combo in a street car. Sounds like to put together a great combination. Are you running slicks or
Drag radials?

What he said thumbs

Which track? WIR? Looks like yesterday Tulsa as -300 DA at noon. You'd be be on the cusp of 10s if you were there instead.

Glad you made it to the 'Kan yesterday. Sorry we weren't able to visit more. As others have stated you have a nice looking and running car. Jim

I haven't even started to tune the engine. The timing is still @ 34° total where I set it initially. 91 pump gas from QT through the mufflers.

New best mph but 60 ft. was horrible.

11.38 @ 121.29mph (up from the 119 mph)

1.74 60 ft.

The only changes made were bumping the timing to 36° and installing a 1" phenolic spacer in place of the .5" one.

Really happy with it as I drove it 90 miles last night to a cruise in a neighboring town and then drove it to the track and back tonight! (Probably 40 miles).

I've only been to the track three times and the most experimentation has been with tire pressure. It seems to like 18 psi.

I did add 2° of timing and a 1" phenolic carb spacer since the last track day.

All I know is it runs like it has fuel injection. It starts instantly, doesn't bog and never loads up on the street. I fully planned on FiTech fuel injection after getting it together but the is no reason!

Try enrichening all four jets one size to see if it will pickup or slow down the MPH in the 1/4 mile, if it won't slow down or pickup you may need more fuel volume work If it picks up try another size bigger one size at a time util it does slow down the MPH in the 1/4 mile scope twocents

Yea 121 mph is enough for 11.0's with decent hook. When I was jetting my car and was still lean it ran 11.02 @ 121 with a 1.52 sixty. You just get that hook working decent and you will get them 10's. Nice going. up Ron

It was grudge midnight drags at KID so there were a lot of hard, street tired cars running. Because of this they weren't prepping the track like they normally would IMO.
