Trying to straighten out some things that I previously kinda tossed in as I got them. It's a Challenger with a 440 & 1-7/8 Hooker super comps, MSD pro billet distributor and MSD 8.5 mm super conductor wires (the pre-made ones). All the wires are too long. But before I cut them and put new ends on I'd like to find some pictures of how others have done it.

I don't know how much this helps, but it gives me another opportunity to show off my engine compartment when it was still clean.

Thanks all!
I am trying to use the cap that came with the MSD to hold the wires down ? But you lose a couple of areas to rout the wires. I also have a kind of dumb ? How come everyones #1 wire is in a different position?

how do you lose any areas? #1 wire can be anywhere you want it to. put it in the best location for your routing.

I run the wire for the rear cyl on each side along the top of the valve cover as it works nice with my 90 degree wires. Ron

Thanks all.
Gave me some inspiration. Have it pretty much figured out. I would share.. but after seeing clean motors, I would be embarrassed. Maybe some day?

I have had good results running 5, 6, 7, and 8 under the intake and around the back of the heads, then under the headers. To me it looks cleaner and keeps them out of the way.

From a few years ago. I copied another board member at the time.. It takes time to figure it out, but looks cool when ya get it done..

This does look VERY nice! Thanks for "carrying the tradition" from the other member.

I understand that cylinders #5 & #7's wires should never be run next to each other at all due to the cylinders timing events and the possibility of induced spark from #5 seting off #7's charge WAAAAYYY before it should normally fire(with an air/fuel mixture beginning the compression stroke) causing potentially catostrophic damage.

Does anyone consider this in their routing?

I don't have the car anymore and can't do that with the Firecore 50's I have now. Those wires were Taylor Spiro Pro's 10.4mm. Not much worry with cross firing with those. I still have 6 of the 8 wires..

What have I now..
