Salty Dog OP member S Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 44 Cape Coral	Im just getting back into Mopars after many years and got my brothers 383 Gran Coupe running. One header is leaking badly at the head reminding me of my 440-6 back in the day. Have header gaskets improved over the last 20 years at all?

jlatessa pro stock J Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 1,319 Ohio	Try cutting the flanges on each header in two places: between #1 and #3, between #5 and #7. Same thing on the passenger side, it allows the flanges to align more accurately to the head surface. I've never had a leak doing this and using quality gaskets. Joe
