Anyone know what adapter I need so I can get my 10 oz co2 bottle filled at the paint ball fill place because its only $3 compared to taking it to the fire and safety place for $10

I just got finished having two 10-oz bottles filled at our local paintball store.. There was no adapters.. I just handed them the bottles and he gave them back filled... and for the two, it was only $5 plus some change

I took 2 bottles to Dunhams Sporting Goods and they couldn't fill my Sons as its a different fitting. My local welding supply shop filled both bottles real cheap.

The paintball industry has intentionally made their stuff queer to standard industrial fittings. I kept a set-up that looked like this when we were filling bottles. Used a similar deal on the big bottle with a -4 teflon lined hose to connect them. Most guys don't have this as their regulators go right on the bottle valve.

I had paintball guys come to me and I couldn't fill their bottles and no one would sell me the adapters to do it. Maybe things have changed since then.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

The nut and nipple are welding shop type parts. The other pieces will be correct sized pipe union and the AN piece is just a standard NPT/AN adapter. CO2 bottle valve threads and fittings are CO2 only.
