I'm currently running an SSBC drum to disc brake conversion kit (part# A156) and my question is if it's possible in any way to keep using this brake kit with the new 2 inch dropped spindle that is based on the 73 and later big bearing? Is it possible to just change the rotor and the bearings? The current rotor got a diameter of 11.25" and 0.8125" thickness.

I'm guessing that the drum spindle and the disc spindle use different bearings. I would email SSBC

That is right. The bearing sizes are noticeably different.
