I am in need of a machine shop who can rework a 2.2 sohc/8 valve cylinder head. Mine appears to have dropped a valve seat, damage is unknown but I'll get it removed tomorrow and evaluate further. Mckeown motorsports in waldorf is the only place I am aware of presently that I am willing to try out. I am not looking for a bargain basement price. I am looking for a shop with a reasonable turn around time (1 week, 7 days) and one that will warrenty their work.

It's in Frederick, but the last time I needed work done on a 2.2 head, I used Automotive Parts and Machine on East Patrick Street. They've also done a lot of big block work for me and it's always top notch. Gunther's in Woodsboro also has a great rep.
