For mopars, it's ok, I used their seat covers and they didn't fit nearly as tight as I would have liked. For a driver I'd use it.

I'm on the other side of this spectrum, I want better quality than Legendary!!!
To clarify it is the best we can get 45 + years later I've done at least 6 cars with it but I would pay for even better. Ron Agreed. We are dealers for both and Legendary is the higher quality. I purchased some Legendary for my own car, and they are coming apart at the seams after minimal use. Their quality could be better.

Hey Ron, I haven't bought seat covers. How or what could someone do to improve over legendary covers? Thanks Terry The material is the best we can get but not as durable as original covers. Years back the rear upper seat material wouldn't lay correctly on my first 72 Satellite, I contacted them and they agreed the material was sewn wrong. They allowed me to send the seat to them on my dime and they redid it for free and returned to me on their dime. Glad it got fixed but cost me more for no fault of my own. The seat covers I got a little over a year ago for my present 72 Satellite are stitched different on the upper rear of the front buckets. I noticed a couple months later when I was bringing them to the upholstery guy. I called them and sent pictures of the difference. The reply was yes we've seen that a couple of times but it's not the norm. They say the way my original seats are stitched on that upper back side is like a 73 seat. So I asked to send these back to get the right ones and they said that there would be a special order charge of another $200 because it's not the norm. Mind you my buddy has the same discrepancy on the upper seatback from them for his original 71 GTX seats he recently purchased too. So how could I with my original 72 have 73 style stitch and my friend with his original 71 have 73 style stitch and it's such a rarity that they want to charge extra???? Why not put a note in their catalogs that there is two different styles to look out for? They don't have all the correct headliners anymore and just want you to accept the GM pattern so I had to have one made by SMS which now looks correct but feels like totally different material than original. A bunch of their seat foam isn't shaped as original so you need a good guy to correct that. Even though my car is a driver I am very particular but for the money spent I expect no issues. Ron

To clarify it is the best we can get 45 + years later I've done at least 6 cars with it but I would pay for even better. Ron So would a lot of us. Probably not the majority of us unfortunately. I would gladly pay $1000 for a correct a correct 70 Challenger dash pad. Hell I'd pay $2000 for a correct one in burnt orange for my 70 Shaker Challenger. As for interior don't fool yourself that the quality was that great from the factory. A former employee of mine was an Air Force pilot and bought a 70 RR 440 Six Pack 4 speed with bucket seats. The seats split in less than two years. I have a low mileage Hemi 70 GTX that had the inserts replaced - I'm guessing the same reason. When you ordered your interior did you tell them you had a 72 but stitched in a 73 style? I'm guessing not because you didn't know. I'm guessing legendary didn't know either. Yes they could put a disclaimer in their catalog but maybe your configuration is a 10%er or a 1%er. Businesses have to charge more for one off stuff otherwise they lose money on the deal and then they are out business and we are all in the lurch. Can Legendary improve? Absolutely and I hope they do.

I did a black&silver 1970 RR bench in 2006, and another one in 2013, I still have both & they are not the same colors or material. Same trim code.

You get what you pay for. My customer thought he got a "great" deal on these covers for his 70 charger. I wouldn't even install the fronts
Restoring a car to look "only" as good as the factory made it is like getting a boob job for your wife and having the doctor make them two different sizes to seem more natural
