On my 2011 ram the seal on the cargo/ brake light on the back of the cab went and the storage units under the back seat filled with water. not sure how common this is just a heads up.

I have heard of it before so I would say it is not uncommon. I believe it was a issue on many years. Also the rear sliding window drains get clogged and can cause water issues also.

On a 1995 Ram Clubcab rear sliding window there are two small indented spots in the lower slider groove.

Are these the drains that get stopped up?

These two cutouts do not seem to have holes going downward, but a spray shot of WD40 into them seems to drain away.

On a 1995 if the upper rear brake light cover is not sealed with a bead of silicone RTV it will let in water that strangely drains through hidden interior sheet metal channels that end up in the front seat passenger side floor mat area.

I also thank you for the link.

I went out and looked again on my manual sliding rear windows on my 1995.

There are two small outside drains on the rear window lower weatherstripping.

I gently pressed a thin steel wire up into both of these outside drains but the wire would not continue up completely into the interior window slider groove.

Apparently on 1994-1995s at least
The water is supposed to drain to the right/left sides of the slider groove
and then out under black cover bars on each side
before liquid turns downward through the two weatherstrip drains.
This keeps you from fishing a wire through to check that a drain is open.

Same thing happens to non-sliders and it is the third brake light. Some RTV on the rubber gasket cures it.

On mine third light filled with water and burned out the brake light, i made a new rubber gasket.
