the old door panels in my road runner had map pockets. when ordering new ones they told me only chargers came with them. mine appear original and i saw a supposed 19,000 rr on ebay a few months ago with them that they claimed was original. who is right? thanks

thanks for the reply. mine too has buckets. my car had been sitting for 25 years so if they were changed they were changed long ago and they were lucky enough to find the correct color.

The advise you have gotten so far is spot on. Sounds like somebody swapped them or the factory screwed up and installed Charger panels by accident. Do you rear panels look like the fronts? If you post a pic we can tell you exactly what they are for.

Dan, there might be a date code on the back of the panel that may help shed some light on this too? If it's after your car's scheduled production date..................

Which could have happened only at the STL plant. So if the car was built at LR or LA...it couldn't have happened at the factory.
naw, it couldn't have happened at the St. Louis either the highly trained quality control technicians would never, ever miss that.............just kidding

In March of '68, STL picked up some of the slack on the Chargers. Charger production continued at STL and Hamtramck through '69. In 70 Chargers were only made at STL.

Did that 69 RR vert come with 8mm movie from a camera being pointed at it 24/7 for it's entire existence staring with it rolling off the ASSEMBLY line ???
