Does anyone here have any first hand experience with the Edelbrock Pro Flow XT intake on a decent 440?
For the past 9 years I've been running the modified-for-EFI M1 intake on the 440 in my signature block. It's unported except for where I cleaned up the injector bushings that were sticking into the port. I'm running a 4150 style 4-hole 1200 cfm throttle body. If I switched to the Edelbrock I already have a 90mm throttle body that flows about the same. I'm curious to know if I can pick up some power with the Edelbrock. Right now my converter flashes to 3600 and I shift at 6200 so that where I'd like to keep my power range. Part of me says just port the M1 but I have to admit the Edelbrock looks pretty cool.

I heard they do not support it well. This is not first hand experience. I have had good luck with FASTMan efi and anything he sells.

I'm not interested in the whole system just the intake itself. My Gen 7 Accel system still works fine.

no first had experience but the longer runners should help torque. now whether the runners are large enough I don't know. I guess it depends what the rest of the combo is. you could always buy a tunnel ram base and make a top for it too.

I heard from someone that the XT intake runners are small. Now this is third hand BS that I'm spouting so take with a grain of salt.
