6bblgt I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 17,529 Las Vegas, NV	without legal and/or law enforcement help the exact VIN may be out of reach I can get you close - post the info & pics you have 440 or HEMI from fender tag? hardtop? - RS23L8 RS23J8 or convertible? - RS27L8 RS27J8 then there are 3 plants that built GTXs A, G, E - from core/trunk lip stampings? If your dash tag vin or complete dash is missing, you are out of luck. If you go to the state agency with that car, I doubt they will know that the numbers on the core support are NOT the vin numbers. All you can do is go to the state and ask how to get a new number for the car. It will be issued by the state. I would be afraid of that car. I bet money that the original vin is running around on another car right now. Post pictures of the car. Is it nice or a turd?

I bet if you got the DMV and get this started, the State issued VIN will somehow match the SO#'s...
