I am starting the planning stages of a street/strip Hemi build. Has anyone used the edelbrock victor jr. Hemi heads and dual quad intake by edelbrock? I'm looking for any info.on them. Besides the specs. good or bad.

Make sure the piston manufacturer you pick makes a piston for them.....

I have a set that I'm putting on a street/strip Hemi. I didn't need custom pistons. If you run real high compression and a real big cam, you might need them though.

I used standard pistons also. If you run near stock bore size you will have to notch the bores with a sanding cone for the big valves. They are nice.

Did you you port the heads or run them stock? On what inch motor are they on?

472". You don't need to port them. They flow over 400 out of the box.

Edelbrock is a great vendor, but I'd still disassemble them, do a bowl blend, clean/check the valve job, and check the guide clearance. No need for porting on a street engine.

Scroll down toward the bottom. Has the Stock and super prepped #s. Their #s are a little higher than others have posted though.
