StageIII OP member S Joined: Jun 2015 Posts: 19 Wisconsin	I am starting the planning stages of a street/strip Hemi build. Has anyone used the edelbrock victor jr. Hemi heads and dual quad intake by edelbrock? I'm looking for any info.on them. Besides the specs. good or bad.

blowndart super stock B Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 965 Odessa, Fl	I have a set that I'm putting on a street/strip Hemi. I didn't need custom pistons. If you run real high compression and a real big cam, you might need them though.

rickseeman master Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 2,643 Stuttgart, Arkansas	I used standard pistons also. If you run near stock bore size you will have to notch the bores with a sanding cone for the big valves. They are nice. 2011 Drag Pak Challenger

Edelbrock is a great vendor, but I'd still disassemble them, do a bowl blend, clean/check the valve job, and check the guide clearance. No need for porting on a street engine.
