Keep in mind, these are GENERALIZATIONS because there is too much variability between individual cars. Also, VERY few restorers can absolutely duplicate many of these finishes with modern plating techniques. The best I've seen when it comes to restoring multiple piece assemblies like latches is Stephan Fournier (stephan.fournier@videotron.ca). Jules D'Addio (RIP) passed on his business to him.
Trunk latch - Clear zinc (silver) then painted with car
Trunk latch mechanism - Primarily clear zinc (silver) but with some small parts in various colors, some have galvanized components
Hood latch (do you mean "catch"?) Dark Brown cad (looks almost black with a brownish copper tone)
Hood latch mechanism - Dark Brown cad with other plating colors on small parts like rivots etc.
Backside housing of side markers - Variable, most are either clear zinc or galvanized
1970 jack assembly - "T" mast is silver - mechanism is gloss black base is gloss black. Tube style jack mast is gold cad/zinc
Taillight housings - Dichromate dip
Front shock nuts and washers (as seen in engine bay) Nuts Dark Phosphate - Washers clear zinc.
Anything interior that should be zinc or cadmium that I'm missing (Don't be lazy, be specific)
