lookin for Ideas on a way to mount my lift off hood on my duster

Cut the side lip pff the hood and build a "shelf" to set the hood on...

Note the ledge along the top of the hood opening and along the back.



Same thing on driver side



Hood sits nice and flat

Dzus fasteners or hood pins. You can hinge a lift off hood if you use gas cylinders instead of heavy stock springs.

On this one I took my lift off hood and glassed in
hinge mounting point... I use the hinges and a prop
rod.. works very nice even when changing the engine
trans as one.. dont need to pull the hood
