I have a 440 punched out to a 500 stroker, Forged crank form 440 source, Indy EZ heads and an Edelbrock dual plane intake. I had a Demon 750 but on the engine dyno the carb was defintly too small. We looked at some of the Demon RS series carbs but went with a Braiswell 1050 in the end. I don't have the cams specs handy but it's around 600.
OK my opinion, get an Indy Dual plane. and get the thing port matched with the heads. That should get that skinny Cuda into the 10's as a street reliable car. ( Don't get the Edelbrock manifold since you would have to mill off the heat transfer passages anyay, well depending on which valley pan you buy)

I would use a the Eddy Performer RPM intake and a 1/2 adapter to mount the carb or port the top of the intake and drill and tap new holes for the carb mounting holes this intake flat works on the street and at the strip

M-1. Sounds like your combo is fairly similar to mine. I don't have it installed in my '69 Barracuda yet, but guys here say low 11's to high 10's shouldn't be a problem.
If you are street driving it, I'd go with a smaller carb for more response and better manners. I have a new 950 HP for mine, but probably would've done fine with an 850. 1050 sounds like a little much, IMHO.
My combo:
440 block, .040 over, 4.15 crank Hughes HEH4650BL Hydraulic cam, 108 lobe separation, specs are at 1.6:1 : intake .606 lift at 246 duration exhaust .614 lift at 250 duration Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, 84 cc Harland Sharp 1.6:1 rollers Ross 99903 pistons, 11:1 at zero deck Ported Mopar M-1 intake Holley 950 HP MSD 6AL, MSD Pro-Billet distributor

the Indy 440-2d works good on the 500 inch , low profile at only 5.25 inches , will bolt on your stealth heads & you can open the same intake up to the max wedge size in the future if needed
I had a 440-2D, nice intake but will still require a hole in the hood on an A-body/RB motor...not much shorter than the M-1...I'll bet you know the exact height difference, dont-cha'?

Here is the M1 intake with a 4500 flange. This is on my 505 motor that has CNC ported Mopar heads. 680 hp with a street roller cam. This setup would make a killer street/strip combo if you can afford the race gas!
those push loc hoses are great. King Kong couldn't pull'm loose.

I run that same cam and a very similar setup. I think you'll like it... Mine is a 493 (11:1) with MCH Eddy's, 3:91s in a 4000lb Road Runner and I'm running high tens. I don't have a Victor though. I think thats a better intake than the Wieand Team G I'm using.

I do. It's not the best quality but it works.

About the original thread, I don't think low 11s or high 10s will be a problem with that combo My intake is considered to be an older, less efficient design and yet I have to be making > 600 HP. Last October, I raced a Chevelle with a 572, 620 HP Chevy Crate motor and beat him with a 10.90 to his 11.19. His 60' was a 1.50 to my 1.52 and I was pulling away from him at the other end. I know I'm heavier than him so all things being equal, I'm making at least as much HP as he is, if not more - with an intake that's not as good as a Victor or an M1. So you should be ok, with either.
I've tried several carbs and settled on a Holley 4150, 950 CFM. I bought a used one from a friend for $300 and it's been great.
