posted in the general section, and didn't get an answer, so i'll try here.

with the linkage setup i have, i'm not opening the carbs fully at WOT. with the pedal to the floor, i can open the throttle plates about an 1/8" or so, measured from the top of the plate.

am i losing anything here? or by the time they are that far open is it the same as all the way?

it's a battle with the linkage i have. i can get it, it will just take more work, and if i'm not going to gain anything, than i will worry about it later when i have more free time.

i've just fixed this problem in my dart. there was just not enough pedal to be WOT. i removed the pedal & gave it a tweak & now it's 100%. 5 min job, was good for a few more ponys.

That little amount wont matter, get to it when you
can. I've tried slowing my car down and I have to
close the blades about 1/2 way to make any real difference
