Dailey makes bad a$$ stuff for sure. Thought about going that route with mine and decided this time to use the $$$ elsewhere. Will get this stuff when freshened up if I don't sell it before then..

That is so sweet! Bill Dailey is such a great guy. He builds stuff for all the mega buck Cup, off road, road course, etc, guys, but treats every customer as if they are the most important. He spent the time to spec my entire system even though I only bought the pump. He ask a ton of questions to make sure you get exactly the right pump for your application. Can't say enough about him. Here's my 5 stage:

So help out my ignorance. Why 2 pumps? I understand the multi stage pump. And would there actually be a price on that?
I'm thinking it would look good on the coffee table!
RIP The pump that bolts on the pan is scavenge only, running twice crank speed. The pressure section goes in the factory oil pump location, and runs half crank speed. Goal being, outer space vacuum in the crank case with as little oil flying around as possible. CJD, you're right. Bill treated me as if I were a prostock front runner.

The ONLY downside to the Dailey stuff, is that it is kind of heavy and makes the motor somewhat hard to work on if you need to drop the pan quickly Yeah, it'll be interesting to weigh it up against a box dry pan. This one is profile milled everywhere it could be so I'll weigh it against some of the other stuff I have after pri. Might be close being absent all the lines and fittings. I'm sure when you factor in a tank the whole set up gets heavier. The pan rail bolts don't pass through the scavenge ports, so it'll drop straight off even with the scavenge pump attached. I went this route mostly to get the crank center close to the ground, and feel safe about cranking the vacuum to it. 15inches was almost too much wet. I'm going for 20+ now if I can get it. Also Monte, if the offer is still available, I need a pair of Gen3 1150's in hard gray. Could/would you PM me about it?, Thanks man.

I've yet to see ANY dry sump system that weighs less than a pan pickup and pump !!!
