IS anyone still making STEEL nosecones and window plugs for Daytona. I know Jack McGaughey Enterprises did, but is anyone doing it now or know where a steel one can be obtained?

Thanks,

Steve

J.McGaughy past away about 2 yrs ago, his fabrication business continues on, but seeing he was the talent behind his vintage wingcar work/fabrication, that has been dropped,

Your only other source for a steel nosecone (repro) is Gene Gregory at Alhambra Restorations, if he has one complete or in "knock down" pre-assembly pcs, I'd grab it ASAP as one never knows where Gene stands selling out/retiring from the biz?

I'm your only source for a Daytona/C500 reproduction steel rear plug, that I'm currently aware of

There's a few discontinued repro back glass made over the years by various vendors still out there, as well as plexiglass repros and original used/NOS OEM glass, generally the repro rear glass is laminated safety glass, not tempered as OEM, however AMD has recently tooled/developed OEM tempered glass and stainless moldings for the Daytona and Superbird, I haven't seen them as yet, nor know of any release date
