Installed a Turbo Action manual valve body so with that I decided to rollerize the rear support and low/reverse drum. These parts are from Coan. I really like the quality of the rear support. I also installed a super sprag for good measure πŸ‘

Nice.
I never had any issues with the factory casting machined for the roller supports, but that is nice. What did it cost?
What does the other side look like where the rollerized rear drum is? I think they are typically machined off so the drum with roller rides directly on the main shaft.

The other side of the support is less than half the depth of the stock cast support. The support and drum were 270.00

Nice piece but I see no advantage over a modified factory support.

Other than the fact that it is brand new and stronger than the cast factory unit I would agree John.

Sure, billet is stronger than cast but the forces placed on the part are radial...not much/any added strength advantage there.
