Does the fan motor just unbolt and pull out? Or is there somthing in the heater box that needs to be removed? Non ac.

Thanks, Justin

You need to remove the heater box from the dash as the motor is attatched to it. The nuts inside the engine compartment you are seeing hold the heater box to the fire wall. Dont forget the plate between the heater hoses also and the small bolt attatched inside the vent to a lever hooked at the top of the vent in the cowl area..

Thanks, sounds like a pain. I'm wanting to paint under the hood while I have the motor out.

Remove the 4 nuts and the plate surrounding it then mask the fan motor and paint away! Same with the plate around the heater core tubes, just one screw. Get new gaskets for them and it will look good!
