The MRLs dropped in, believe it or not, John! Btw we did use the offset intake cup lifter and fwiw we used the Hughes Big block Victor Intake rockers to really straighten out the pushrod which is always a kind of sticking point on a lot of w2 builds...took some research to get there but its s nice solution, . Nice and thanks for the info. I should have my R3 engine done this week and if I'm not happy with how it runs with the solid lifter cam I may look into those over the winter. This block is a 59 degree with the added head bolts so I have some grinding to do

Tony, The motor should make right around 560/560 with absolutely wall to wall torque....and this guestimate should be fairly accurate based on a very similar 442" (401AMC based) stroker combination that made 545/545 on the dyno with very similar (slightly less) head flow and cam. It's pretty follows my default Streetwize SB stroker recipie, but the W2's are an added bonus, plus Stephen's gonna fab up a nice set of 1 7/8" headers to fit the chassis. I'm stoked how cool this thing's gonna be for real street driving. So light with so much power. BTW that Jeep CJ-7 runs easy low 12's....at around 3800 pounds w/d. There's vids of it on youtube (type in wizerulz). So....at around 3100 pounds curb weight with a 3800 stall 9 1/2" UCC converter and 3.73 gears it ought to move pretty seriously quick but be extremely docile for street driving. Tony your cars were really the inspiration for this one Funny how that works. Actually, it was your engine builds that inspired my combos... Your wagon is going to fly! That is some awesome power to weight right there.

It'll be a fun grocery getter, I can't wait to take it tailgating. I love the Charger but original coke bottle R/T's and other authentic Musclecars are kind of a gilded cage when you take them out anymore, It's sad but you can't hardly enjoy going out to eat anymore, without being paranoid about what's going on around it in the parking lot. Something like this, meh!

There are plenty of times that I wish I would have built a normal type of a car unlike the one I built... its just so much easier to build a normal car
