So...A rubber hose runs from the gas tank...through the frame and connects to one end the the tube that enters the trunk. The other tube coming from inside the trunk connects to the "S" shaped tube, and that just rests inside the frame rail?

You're only connecting one tube to the tank with the "S" line in between with short rubber hose on either ends. The bigger of the two lines just vents into the frame rail, it doesn't connect to anything.

no, gas tank to short rubber hose (4" max) to the S tube that goes thru the frame rail to short rubber hose to tube in trunk. bottom of tube coming out of trunk goes into frame rail and is just open

I wasn't going to say anything until I have a good quantity in my hands. I have, maybe, 4 more here until I get production stock in a week or so.
With my limited knowledge of cars, that's the only place that clip is used and the first thing to gets lost on a 70 Cuda/Barracuda hard top. Besides, I needed 3 for my own cars.
I'm not sure the market is there for the volumn that had to be made, but that's ok, I personally needed them.

Here's a previous thread with some more pics.. 70 vent line
Hey Colin, I went through that old post and I noticed the vent line going through the whole in the metal of the trunk floor. Was it replaced? I looked at 2 of my 70 Cudas here at the shop and neither one has the stamping anywhere near where the line goes, it's to far back. Looking at your's, that's the only place it could go to get a straight shot to the "S" line.
