Wish me luck! I have never worked on a more cantankerous car in my entire life. Rolling back 30 years of neglect and abuse has been one hell of a challenge.
Car is fairly stock aside from some boost mods and throttle body, expect it to run 12.9-13.2 range.

P.S. My friend Cliff called it Satan's car since it caught fire (electrical) while being restored. He joked Satan was was trying to recall it.

87 T II..... I could have had that very car for free from one of our parts guys. He rolled 170K on it commuting to work. Always wanted to get it and do the mini van auto trans and axle swap for some real fun. I just didn't have anywhere to put it at the time and he offered it to another. It's just sitting and hasn't run since. Too bad because it actually ran when it was parked.

He is 15 and tries but his camera work needs some polishing.
We drove down on Friday at noon and the traffic was just horrendous in the upper NJ area. It took us 8 hours to make a 5 hour trip! We spent over an hour at the upper toll booth alone, was just insane.
First pass- 13.3 @ 105
Car hooked TOO well and spun the clutch bad. I let it cool down as much as possible and adjusted launch technique.
Second pass- 12.98 @ 106
Car cranked off a 12 like it was nothing. I parked the car for a bit to catch up with friends and watch some of the action.
Third pass- 14.1 at 105
Ugh. Lets not talk about this. Soft launched it out the hole AND missed second so bad I lit the check engine light. On the other hand the noise of me missing a gear clued in the Mustang owner in the other lane it was time to go. He still got spanked.
Forth pass- 12.80 @ 107
Lined up against one of my best friends in a Dodge Magnum. Was considering spotting a few car lengths but competitive instinct kicked in and I let the clutch fly as the lights came down.
Cecil as usual was well prepped but holy cow there was wall to wall Mustangs. There must have been at least 125 or more in attendance with a total attendance capped at 200 cars. Suppose to be, I think there was more than 200 cars there though.
SRT Jeep running 8's was insane, nice work. There was a black '72 Dart making some stout single digit runs too. Low 9's? Sounded great.
Time to detune the CSX for a bit, we built it so the kids could go auto-crossing. It was hard getting the darn car to run right but finally got it sorted out and it didn't break this weekend or catch fire again.

Congrats man. Those cars are pretty sweet sleepers. My exes neighbor had one that sat in their driveway for years. They were getting evicted so I saved up money, but then one day it was just gone along win the residents
