[b][/b]You don't need a thick blanket. I owned lift off hood RoadRunners for 35 years. When you put the hood on the roof, the bottom ribs only touch at the low point in the middle of the front and the outside corners at the back. I always used a bath towel on the back part of the roof and a smaller towel folded over in four underneath the middle of the front part of the hood. The towels hardly even show and you don't have to carry a blanket around.
