I am building a .060 over 360 to put into my front engine dragster. What oiling mods should I be doing to make the motor happy. I will not be spinning it past 6400 rpm, will have a 3500 convertor behind a powerglide with 4.10 gears. I know I need a rear sump pan, but have ground clearance considerations. So what would be a good pan for this application.
All help appreciated.

I'd drill all the passages from the passengers side oil galley to the mains to 5/16" and call it good. I have a Charles aluminum pan and swinging pick up for a chassis car if you're interested.

Deburr the block and call it good. I would see no need modifying the oiling system for that kind of RPM. Run a good oil pan and a blueprinted std pump and you won't have a problem

You might want to look into a crankshaft scraper in stead of a windage tray. Check out these folks. They make a good piece.

Go to www.forabodiesonly.com and click on "small block engines" then checkout Guitar Jones' oiling mods that are at the top of the page in a sticky then go to www.moparchat.com then scroll down to and click on "circle track chat" then checkout Sanborns' oiling mods that are in a sticky at the top of the page (some of the two overlap). your Q's will be answered in spades

Agree that rpm does not need any mods...been running a .060 360 in a 71 Dart since 2004 that runs about 7k thru the traps..no oil mods except for deep pan and HV pump...plus two more 360s done the same way...

I seen the inside of the engine in these two cars and it looked like this.

I'd deburr the block, drill the main feeds, and add a few drainback holes in the valley. Fit the mains iwth studs, run the IJ scraper, and the pan that fits the chassis. I like the stock pumps with HP spring pkg as far as oil pumps go.

Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.
