Deburr the block and call it good. I would see no need modifying the oiling system for that kind of RPM. Run a good oil pan and a blueprinted std pump and you won't have a problem

Go to www.forabodiesonly.com and click on "small block engines" then checkout Guitar Jones' oiling mods that are at the top of the page in a sticky then go to www.moparchat.com then scroll down to and click on "circle track chat" then checkout Sanborns' oiling mods that are in a sticky at the top of the page (some of the two overlap). your Q's will be answered in spades

I'd deburr the block, drill the main feeds, and add a few drainback holes in the valley. Fit the mains iwth studs, run the IJ scraper, and the pan that fits the chassis. I like the stock pumps with HP spring pkg as far as oil pumps go.
Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.
