What timing chain is everyone using on their builds? I've read some negative things about the factory 5.7 chains.
Manley, Comp, Howards and likely some others all make them...

I asked this question before and the 5.7 had problems if they had automatics and MDS. I have also read that the Manley chain is made in India. Not sure about the Howards chain though havent called them lately. I use the stock chain

Using the Manley chain with no problems...over 1200 3/8 mile laps on the dirt tracks.

The problem with the 5.7 chain is the chain tensioner. Get the whole stock 6.1 setup.
