My 62 was dropped off today and I couldn't resist taking her out on such a nice day, despite the open exhaust and slicks.

That's a lot faster than from scratch. Sometimes cheaper too.

Getting old just means you were smarter than some and luckier than others.

Funny you should ask.....somebody wanted it more than I did, so I wound up with a 67 Stingray and a pile of cash. I did a 6 month restoration on the Vette and wound up with a bigger pile of cash. I had been watching this 62 for sometime and wound up buying it.

Very nice!

I want a '62 Savoy but room is a bit tight right now.

Love the '62's!

Same here. IMO they're the best looking of the early B bodies.

When I was in high school the first car I bought with my own money was a 62 Dodge that someone had put a street hemi in. $500 and drove it home. Those were the good old days.

Been to an eye doctor lately? eek

To the Op, any fiberglass parts on the car, and if so how do they look, or maybe in the future?

Nice car BTW. up

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

It has glass bumpers, hood and scoop. The hood needs some adjustment, but looks good. Lexan windshield and side windows. The car weighs 3100 with me in it.

iagree
The only Mopars uglier than 1962 Dodge and Plymouth are 1961 boogie grin I owned a original 1962 Plymouth Fury that had the origainl 413 M.W. removed long before I got it, it had a tired 361 4 barrle motor in it back then. Boy do I wish now that I had kept it realcrazy I do like those ugly 1962 Dodge B bodys more than the 1962 Plymouths B bodys thumbs, even though the Plymouths are lighter and have shorter wheel bases shruggy

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

I'm the opposite and think the Dodges are the ugly ones. I probably have better eye sight than most of the comedians in this thread too thumbs

It'd be a boring world if we all liked the same things, wouldn't it?

Adam it's been awhile since I e worked on the car but I'm having a brain fart on the taller hood scoop. I don't remember us putting that in on. But it's looking good de whipped. !!!! I'm looking forward to see the car out again. Remember any questions don't hesitate to give me a yell.
