For a cage in my car........ want it just like the cage in the pic of my challenger below... nicely done through the dash. back seat still to be in the car / swingouts and I dont want the cross bar that goes across the knees or bars through the firewall to inner fenders......

depends on material.

custom fabbed chro mo cage 10pt 2k-2500$ installed

mild steel 1k-1500$ installed

or you can get out the welder and hole saw and get it done yourself around 600 for mild steel.

what ET is mild steel good to??? what is the weight difference...

Those estimates seem to be cheap to me coming from a very good shop. If your looking for a super clean piece I would think it would be $500 more on both sides. Mild Steel can be easily certified to 8.50 with a stock fire wall. Weight could be around 50 lbs maybe alittle more, depending on the amount of cage.

I really like the bars through the dash pad look... and hiddenish.... any good shops in PA to reccomend ?
