moparniac OP master M Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 6,295 U.S.	For a cage in my car........ want it just like the cage in the pic of my challenger below... nicely done through the dash. back seat still to be in the car / swingouts and I dont want the cross bar that goes across the knees or bars through the firewall to inner fenders...... cmcgee123 enthusiast C Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 219 so cal	depends on material. custom fabbed chro mo cage 10pt 2k-2500$ installed mild steel 1k-1500$ installed or you can get out the welder and hole saw and get it done yourself around 600 for mild steel.

If your looking for a super clean piece I would think it would be $500 more on both sides. Mild Steel can be easily certified to 8.50 with a stock fire wall. Weight could be around 50 lbs maybe alittle more, depending on the amount of cage.
