Opinions or facts, Is there any draw backs or benefits to using the standard valve with lash caps? Or use the one's with the hardened tips.

I always get the hardened tip. If using a production iron head the seats work O.K. but if you have steel seats in aluminum head they will eat the valves quickly. Moldstar60 seats aren't cheap but well worth the money.
