It's an aluminum body clear reservoir. Should I paint the aluminum body or leave it plain as it is. It's getting bolted up to the Hydroboost system from Hydratech. The HB body is painted gloss black

clear, but spray it with something to coat it so it will stay looking nice

If you paint it use something that the brake fluid will not remove when some gets on it.

i'd leave it alone. i drove on one for 12yrs and it never discolored or corroded.

Use DOT 5 brake fluid too and it won't mess up any paint.

What size m/c did you use? Can you post a pic of the Hydraboost system?
