An option would be a nice one from another eng & clean/paint it to your eng color & trim it to the required length. bottom line is get the sump oil level to the correct height with the car on a level surface with IE 4 qts in a regular sump pan or whichever pan you have (you said OE so I'm thinking the std 4 (maybe 5 in some cases) sump & that is your "full" point on the stick. live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
