I have my rally wheels back from sand blasting and ready to paint. Does anyone have the Paint number for PPG for correct agent silver 70 challenger ? ?

No matter what any restoration paint sellers say, I don't think you can actually get the correct paint. That said, Krylon 1403 Dull Aluminum is inexpensive and close enough for me.

Edit. I haven't seen what challenger recommended. I'll have to check it out.

The last time I checked, 1 gal, PPG lacquer was over $400.00

UPOL makes a really good rally wheel silver. I got Wheel Vintiques wheels and the powder coating wasn't even close. I also found that Duplicolor makes a very nice rough argent paint for the sombreros that has the glitter in it.

Krylon doesn't make that shade paint anymore,the #1401 is still available but it is in their chrome version,not even close.I used to use that on the grilles for my Chargers and the new blend is way off. John.

John - The Krylon 1403 dull Aluminum is still readily available. I just bought a couple cans a few weeks back from Auto Zone. It is also listed on Ebay and other places.

So talking about painting rims. stripper just dropped of rims should that back of rim and inside where tires goes be sprayed flat black ? ?
