Wow i check in on moparts and read this i just can't believe it. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends RIP Kevin

On a Thursday night in October, I stood on the starting line and had the opportunity to see two young men live a dream not too many will have a chance to do. One the young man with the opportunity to drive and one the young man standing watching his car, possibly the most famous of all mopars,go down the dragstrip again. As these two pieces of drag racing history ran down the track Kevin came running over and was like a three year old on Christmas morning.

This has to be one of the hardest threads on this web site I have read. I spoke to Kevin this week-end and he had so many plans for the coming racing season. Everytime we talked it was a pleasure to talk with him about the old days of drag racing and you could alway hear in his voice this interest in bringing the car to locations for people to enjoy it.

Kevin was an incredible young man and had a passion for bringing to many the opportunity to see these cars go down the dragstrip again. He worked hard to bring the history of the MOTOWN MISSLE to many.

Our thoughts and prayer go out to his family at this trying time from all of us at Chris3 Racing.

Wow Totally shocked!!!!! So Sorry Fred, and also sorry to Kevs family and close friends, will send our prayers your way for peace, understanding, and closure.............so true on we do not know what tomorrow holds so even if it's a bad one make the best out of today and NEVER GO TO BED ANGRY that is a standing rule in our household............

Kevin was an example of the new breed, the younger guys that have the same kind of passion that people like Fred, Reed, Joe, BG, myself and others have. A passion to relive the golden days and keep it alive.

I have had a similar situation , friend and member of this board , talked with him daily , next day I missed his call that morning only to find out later in the day that he died .

I can't believe it! I didn't know him personally but we posted back and forth when it came to CCEvents. Kevin had so much enthusiasm and love of the history of the sport, he was an asset to this board and the sport it's self.
He will be sorely missed. God Bless him and his family

I never met him, but I loved his passion for preserving the history of the Missile.

Some folks live their entire lives and never live their dream. Kevin lived his in full color.

Still, he's gone much too soon, keep us posted as to what happened.

Prayers to the family in their time of sudden and tragic loss.

I never had a chance to meet Kevin in person. I was very excited knowing I was going to meet him in the very near future. It was clear Kevin had great intentions and goals regarding NPS/NSS.
