Sweet. I just ordered a team z unit. Got a pretty killer deal. But I'm thinking mounting it between the frame rails will be easiest on my mild street car. It would be easier on the frame mounting... get one thats wide so it controls the axle easier(they make different widths) ![wave wave](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/wave.gif)

I still street drive mine, I don't bother to disconnect it, and have zero problems. Now I don't hammer it through corners because I have a spool, skinnys and a arb. I built it as a street strip car that has gone more to the strip side of things.

everyone should run one, make sure you get a good one and not the elcheapo Agreed. A cheap one is useless. It needs to be substantial enough to resist twisting or flexing to work. This includes whatever it is attached to on the chassis and the mounting hardware. I've seen some flimsy junk that people call a functional anti-roll bar.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

minimum size needed to start with ? hollow or solid ? splined or welded end arms [aluminum or steel]? what material for pivot bushings ? just a few questions that have maybe been asked in the past. also, what about the width of the bar used on narrowed rears ? do you increase diameter to compensate for the bar being narrow to fit, or does the arm length need to be longer or shorter ? I went with the smaller bar the first time... I broke it..and changed to the larger diameter... mine came with plastic bushings.. I machined up oil-light ones and a zert fitting in each... the bar was splined and the arms were fairly long but I needed the long arms to reach... that set up works great ![wave wave](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/wave.gif)

I've straightened a few for guys already

I went with a TRZ it has greasable bronze bushings. I like how you attached it to the shock plate, where did you move your shocks to?

The Smith assassin bar plates have provisions on the front and rear of the plate. I made the little bracket to mount the ARB link to the rear of the plate and the shocks are going in front.
