Yes, lots of them. Now, before we go any further keep in mind that the applications varied, there were a LOT of inconsistencies, "mistakes", etc.
Generally speaking...
Most convertibles, and most HP manual transmission cars (340,383,440, etc.) had them. Some ended up getting only fronts or only rears.

Does the year make any difference? There are documented cases of cars that should have having them have not and cars that shouldn't have them. What car in particular are you inquiring about?

Saw a 68 383 GTS hartop "survivor" at Monster Mopar last weekend, it was an automatic with rear boxes. I have it's brother in the garage right now, same exact car down to the colors, and it does not have any!

I like your polite way of saying some poor rookie line work screwed up and either put them on when they did not take them or missed them altogether and the inspector at the end of the group just did not care to do his job.I say rookie because usually rookies or low seniority started or were in the body shop. Most likely the day shift after their liquid lunch
