What is the wheel set back for a 66 Coronet? I'm looking at some 8.5" Torque Thrust II's with 3.75" set back.
Thanks,
Mike

those wheels probably won't fit with the stock ride heigth. an 8" wheel with a 4 1/2" backspace is probably as large as can be comfortably fit in the wheel well.

I run 7" steelies with 4-1/4" setback & they are perfectly square in the wheel-well.

Thanks for the input. I'll pass on the rims.

I have 18x8 with a 5.5" backspace on my 66 Coronet. The tires are 255/45/18

The springs are ESPO 6 leaf HD. The rear is a 742 clutch pack Power Lock.

I have not driven with 4 people yet, but I have a stout rear anti sway bar so I doubt it will rub. I have at least 1/2" clearance at ride height. The rub mark in the photo is from the previous owners tire/wheel combo.
