What pump are you using for a remote water pump on a RB? I thought there was a post about this not too long ago, but I haven't been able to find it with the search.
Also, is #12 line large enough?
Thanks,
Brian

well while you're waiting for legitimate information.... here's a pict of my old RB with it's Shogun waterpump and manifold (out of business). I never had a prob cooling, and it was nice having the room on the front of the car. If I could only find the picts after I cleaned things up..... smile

Mezier also has a couple styles of divorced water pumps. On has a fitting that welds on the tank of the radiator and the pump mounts there.

Meziere sells pumps. I'd use a custom radiator with the pump bolted directly to the radiator if you have the budget for it. That is a super clean setup.

On the engine side #12 hoses would probably be okay on the pressure side but I'd use #16 hoses on the outlet side.

This is what I have to work with. It's a CSI system (old, over 20 years old), that the pump motor failed. It has this manifold to connect the block to the upper radiator hose and uses a small block Chevy pump to complete the system. If I use this with a remote pump connected to the lower radiator hose and split AN 16 hoses to this manifold, I can use a lot of what I already have and get the pump out of the way.
What options do I have for pumps that are reliable and not a small fortune?
Thanks, Brian

I used the Meziere pump with 12 AN lines. Works good for me.

I've had a Jabsco Centri-puppy on mine for over 20 years. It's a centrifugal pump made of brass and is plumbed with 3/4" hose. A couple of years after I installed mine Dedenbear came out with a version that would attach to a radiator hose.
