I have decided to repaint my wheels for my '70 Challenger RT. they are the W21 Rally wheel. In order to correctly (Show), what would the paint for outside and inside look like.
Correct supplier paint codes would even work better, if anyone knows.
Currently they look OK on the outside, but the inside of my wheels are gloss black.

Any assistance to originality is appreciated,
Mike

The backside of your wheels should be Black. Some will say Gloss others will say Semi-Gloss. The front should be sprayed with Argent without any rear masking so as whatever Argent blows back there is correct. I like Totally Auto's Argent in a spray can for easy of use. Also Mopar Performance sells an Argent Wheel paint also. Don't have a formula if your spraying in a gun.

PPG has a silver poly lacquer that is to be the right color. I can not find the code in my file, but I have seen it on Moparts. I think Bill Alphin has the code. shruggy

It's DLL 3960 I believe. I have sprayed gallons of it on wheels and more. I got the number directly out of a Factory body service manual 20 years ago. And they can still mix it when I checked earlier this year.
