Crank is at the Machinist, which is better just polishing it and staying standard or going .010 on Mains and Rod bearings for a new surface. He said I would be fine with standard but its a 120k motor but well maintained. I have bearings for either application so that is not a concern. Thanks.

If the machinist says it's good why second guess him. After all it is what he does for a living.shruggy

Thats what I'm thinking, but this is a first for me, I usually need them turned without question. Pleasantly surprised by the condition of the engine when I opened it up.

What is is basing his "it would be fine with Standard" on ?

Has he mocked up the crank in the block and check bearing clearances already with the new bearings and in the resized rods ?

running up my post count some more .

If it measures fine and isn't scored stick with standard.
