First day is done and i'm 12th in cam c after practice rounds today. We qualify for our spots in the morning session followed by eliminations in the afternoon. Forgot to turn the camera on first runs and also forgot to get trash out of the car. Donut wrappers floating next to your head thru a run are distracting! I see several spots in the video that need work. Need to backside the turn before the finish to square up better and carry more speed. I also need to learn how to launch the car better. It's been a blast so far!

Looks like a 2015 Challenger of some sort. What model, relevant options, and mods does it have?

What tires and rims?

Is that Summit Camaro in your same class? Very modified? How did it do?

He's posted quite a bit on it. From what I recall it's a 2015 Scat Pack with a Hotchkis TVS. Are there any good tire options for a Challenger? The only thing I can think of with the stock wheels is a Michelin Super Sport with a 245/45/20 or a 255/45/20.

Hes got RS-3's 285/35/20 on aftermarket wheels. The car for being a tank looks right at home dodging cones trust me. The 392 is no slouch either.

Mopar to the bone!!!

I think he also told me that with no leather or sunroof, it weighs UNDER 4000 lbs too.

That's not a bad tire... I forgot you can go with aftermarket wheel sizes in CAM. I keep thinking of the street classes for whatever reason. I wonder what wheels he has then.

15 scat pack base 6speed. Mopar stage 1 springs and sway bars, 20x10 axis wheels with 285 hankook rs3 v2 tires, hellcat air box.

Never done a pro solo before so i'm on a steep learning curve for setup. Going to have to dump more tire pressure before i run. Started 36/35 psi and was 41/39 by the end of our runs. With the hot lap format, there isn't any time to set tire pressures between laps.

Camaro red lit 2 of his runs and spun another. We were first on course with virgin concrete so it was pretty greasy. Hopefully today will be a better day with more grip.

Summit camaro held fast time for cam t, original owner 65 ac cobra fastest time for all cam classes and widebody fox mustang in the lead of cam c. I ended up 13th in qualifying and had to run another wide body stang in the first round of eliminations. Got smoked first round and was done for the day. Cobra was the overall winner with summit camaro 2nd, Al Unser Jr in the speedway camaro 3rd and the summit corvette 4th.

Great event and a great group of racers. Had a blast and wouldn't hesitate to jump into the mix again if the chance comes.

Just a little off course action there. lol Been there, done that. Watched it again, at the end of the eliminations run vid. I think it was just the fishtail and then the end of course. :-)
