Finally got my traction bar set-up installed today to get rid of that nasty wheel hop, the set-up was for 4x4 Dodge trucks but with a little modifying it fit pretty good, only thing I had to do was open up the u-bolt holes on the upper spring plates and cut about 2 inch's off the same plates where the strut rod mounts and redrill one mounting hole lower because they were too tall and would have made contact with the bed when rear suspension would compress. I took pics of it installed and pics of the kit part #, it took about 3 1/2 hours to install and modify.

I also flipped the upper spring bracket so the angled up piece that the strut rod bolts too is closer to the brake drum so it won't make contact with the bed bottom if suspension gets compressed.

Here's the kit right out of the box, uncut.

I made my set for the stepside, but used that kit many times 20+ yrs ago on 4x4 trucks.

on my 2x truck I noticed that when I pre-loaded the rubber bushing up tight I would/could feel them running a locker in the rear axle on the streets.

kinda pushed the truck around when on or off the gas banging gears.

I swapped them out for SSM lift bars for A-body on mono leafs

either way they will work great banging gears.

Don't really plan on hauling anything (except @ss), but the truck does squat down when you jump on it (because I did remove some leaf springs to lower it) and the roads here in Tampa town are not the smoothest...Eventually, when the kids go off to college (4-5 yrs), I will update the truck with a front subframe and some sort of modern rear suspension, but for now I'll just make it drivable and enjoy it.
