Well after 2 yrs of wk I finally got my wagon running. Its a mild 512 build.
Hope to have it to the track in 2-3 wks. I still have to mount the RO scoop and exchange the Right Stuff Detailing spindles that were recalled..
Hera is a youtube address if you want to see it. Not the best video(recorded by my phone)but pretty happy. grin

Very cool car! You get extra points for the tach drive distributor. Is that BC/CC paint? Looks great!

we found out while painting the car it was originally beige but the previous owner had sprayed it f7 Sherwood Green(very poorly, the paint actually blew off the car). We felt it was(well I did, lol) too much green so decided to paint the top white. We used W1 White I believe for 1971.
We were really surprised when we started checking the different formulas for W1 that Mopar used over the years.

Hey! Nice car. I love the firewall block off plates. I have the same ones. The guy that makes them is a buddy of mine.
Good luck at the track.

Digger73, I believe you posted pictures of them a while back. That was what gave me the idea to go w/them, They fit great. Saved me from having to weld in the opening and then paint the entire engine compartment. While not cheap it was still less than my time plus materials to weld everything up.

Ok

I have to say that you made the right choice. He does very good work. If I could figure out how to post pictures, I would show you what I did to mine. Your car looks great. I hope mine turns out that good.

Hi Mike. I will be there to watch. I wanted to be able to do some test and tune 1st. Still have to mount the scoop and exchange the spindles and then get an alignment. Then check everything out front to rear to make sure I didnt miss something or forget to tighten something all the way.
Dont want to rush it. This car fought me most of the way. Almost like it wanted to stay dead. Lol
I will say if this car hadnt looked so much like the one I had in high school I would uave passed on it. I could have gone so many different directions and been racing again already for wqy less $$$. But building this has been good therapy for me. Took my mind off stuff that continue to trouble me.
