Sorry no picture yet but I have a set of small block (motor mount) engine brackets (not sure what they came off) that have an extra piece of steal hanging off them that sort of shields/cups the rubber mount. Anyone hear of these and know what they came off of? Thanks

No. It's the actual engine bracket with shield built onto them.

Is it the part that keeps the mount from separating if the rubber tears? It kind of interlocks the top and bottom of the rubber cushion.
