I've searched for a tire vs. rim width chart on the net, with no luck. Hopefully someone can point me in the correct direction.

I did the SSBC front disc brake conversion on my '71 Dart GT (awesome kit!). Using the SSBC kit allowed me to keep the 14" X 5 1/2" (SBP) Rallye Wheels. However, I believe the front track width is increased. With the wider track width I get a little bit of tire rub during tight turns (with 4 people in the car).

The previous owner installed P215-70R-14 front tires. I believe the car originally came with D70-14s. What would be the correct "P" number in a 70R-14 series tire?

Thanks for any input!

205 70 14 is just about exact with a .3 more section width and .1 less tread width, but the exact heigth. I use Summit's site when doing this kind of research, they show tire specs and carry Coker so I can get the specs on the old rating and then I can use the search by product and start selecting things (ie: tires, 14 inch, radial, heigth, etc...) until I get to what I think I want and then look at the specs on it and adjust up or down if necessary.

One thing to keep in mind is that tire brands differ slightly sometimes in specs on the same size tire but it will be close enough not to really matter.
