Here they're advertising the colors on the stripes. As you can see up in the earlier post (pictures). Gold is never mentioned. Only tan for the dust trail. Do you suppose that the new aftermarket stripes use the gold for visual bling?...give it a brighter look? The new aftermarket stripes probably use gold reflective material because it is readily available and that way they can just print the other colors on the material without having to mix any special inks to reproduce them. Due to the relatively low demand for these stripes, it is probably not cost effective to have special inks mixed up for their printer/plotter.
